Flex Learn Anatomy with Four Dissections(4가지 해부로 해부학을 배우세요)

In this flex class, there are no live classes. A Nearpod course will contain the videos and Flipgrid links described in the following information. Videos will be sent out each week along with a PDF for vocabulary and note taking. Videos will be showing the organ as the instructor points to and pins with labels the area being discussed. Once the surface of the organ has be discussed, it will be cut open in the screen to view the inside. Discussion on the basic anatomy and physiology of these organs will be discussed as the instructor points to and labels each area. 
Students will ask questions and reply to Flipgrid video questions about each organ, including questions about abnormalities or illnesses related to the organ of the week. 

Week 1: The Brain: We will learn about the human brain while dissecting a sheep brain. Learn medical terminology related to the brain, as well as, what each area is responsible for in the human body. Students will be asked a "search it" question to post in Flipgrid for discussion with classmates. Search it questions, will utilize internet, book, or other available resources to find an answer. 

Week 2: The Eye: We will learn about the human eye while dissecting a cow eye. Learn medical terminology related to the eye, as well as, the function of each structure. Students will be asked a "search it" question to post in Flipgrid for discussion with classmates. Search it questions, will utilize internet, book, or other available resources to find an answer. 

Week 3: The Heart: We will learn about the human heart while dissecting a sheep heart. Learn medical terminology related to the heart and cardiovascular system, as well as, the function of each structure. Students will be asked a "search it" question to post in Flipgrid for discussion with classmates. Search it questions, will utilize internet, book, or other available resources to find an answer. 

Week 4: The Kidney: We will learn about the human kidney while dissecting a sheep kidney. Learn medical terminology related to the kidney and urinary system, as well as, the function of each structure. Students will be asked a "search it" question to post in Flipgrid for discussion with classmates. Search it questions, will utilize internet, book, or other available resources to find an answer. 

Upon completion of course, students that participate in watching the videos and the Flipgrid interaction will receive a Certificate of Completion in Anatomy Dissection.
