In this class, your learner will be working on a formal essay and character analysis in lessons 25 and 30 in U.S. History-Based Writing Lessons from the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW). Your learner will write conclusion and introduction paragraphs to complete an essay about transportation milestones in lesson 25. Learners will organize and write a formal essay and response to literature using the IEW method. Your learner will add dress-ups, openers, decorations, literary devices, advanced stylistic techniques, and vocabulary to enhance their essays.
