Dive into the world of storytelling and creating with this Young Authors and Ilustrators Workshop, a six week, self paced course designed for children to bring their imaginative stories and artwork to life by creating and publishing their very own book or colouring book. Under the guidance of a self published author and small business owner, this workshop offers an exciting opportunity for young minds to explore the realms of writing designing and entrepreneurship.

What I offer:

Comprehensive Curriculum; from the inception of an idea to holding a finished book in their hands, students will embark on a complete journey of discovery and creation. This includes crafting their narrative, illustrating their visions, designing a captivating cover page and understanding the nuances of item descriptions and pricing. 

Personalized Guidance; each participant will receive personalized mentorship from an experienced author and entrepreneur, ensuring their unique story and artistic vision come to fruition. As their teacher, I am dedicated to nurturing each child's creative talents and business skills, providing them with the skills to thrive in both literary and entrepreneurial endeavors. 

Creative Freedom and Structured Learning; while this course is structed to guide students through each step of the book creation process, we place a strong emphasis on creative freedom. Students are encouraged to explore their ideas and express themselves freely, with support and guidance to refine their work into a polished final product.

Publishing Insight; participants will gain invaluable insight into the world of self-publishing, learning about the process, options available for young authors and how to make their book available to readers. This includes understanding how to price their book and how to describe it to potential readers

Entrepreneurial Skills; beyond the creative aspects, this course also introduces basic entrepreneurial concepts, preparing students to potentially sell their books. They will learn about item descriptions, pricing strategies and the satisfaction of creating something valuable for others to enjoy.
