Students will easily and quickly grasp the secrets of figure drawing, understand its basics and principles, and delve into the world of designing and illustrating their dream fashion outfits. We will cover a range of skills including figure drawing in proportion and anatomy, drawing fabric and folds, coloring with different mediums, and thinking like a designer to brainstorm ideas and sketch like a professional.
With an MFA from Northwestern University, I proudly hold the title of an Award Winning Fashion & Costume Designer. As a former judge for the Driehaus Awards for Fashion Excellence in Chicago, I have had the privilege of recognizing exceptional talent. Additionally, I co-created the renowned fashion label KLASA, which has been honored with prestigious accolades like the ELLE Fashion Award. Sharing my expertise as a costume and design instructor at Northwestern University has been a fulfilling experience, and I am thrilled to bring my knowledge, experience, and inspiration to young aspiring artists here at Outschool.

Pencils Drawing paper Eraser and sharpener Ruler Any coloring medium such as colored pencils, markers or watercolors. I will be teaching students how to use all of those and they can choose just one or more mediums to work with.
