🍎Welcome to First Grade Circle Time/Summer Review!  So you’ve just finished First Grade? Let’s review our skills and get ready for Second Grade! This is an ongoing subscription class that meets once a week.  The small class size allows for lots of interactive learning and fun! 
*This class will run through August 23 (with a break the week of July 1-5) and is appropriate for students who have just finished First Grade and will be entering Second Grade, or similar level.

~Skip Counting/Number Sense
~Vocabulary ("Fancy Word" of the Day)
~Phonics - Blending Letters to Read Words  
~Math Story Problem of the Day 
~My friend Ziggy may share a couple of silly jokes!

☀️Students are encouraged to participate in this interactive class.  Sometimes students will answer/chant things together, while other times I may call on students separately to respond.  If they don't feel comfortable speaking alone, that's ok!  Sometimes I may need to mute students due to background noise or if we're singing or reading together, as it can get confusing. Please be sure your learner knows how to use the unmute button.  It would be helpful if students have a quiet, distraction-free area, if possible.

✏️IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is an ongoing weekly subscription class.  You can join for one class or continue for several weeks. You will be automatically charged each Sunday for the following week once you've subscribed.  When you want to unsubscribe, be sure to do so before Sunday so you won't be charged for the following week.
If a class isn’t scheduled for a particular day, you will not be charged. 
If your child misses a live class, a video of the class will be available for your child to use.

Math:  Add a single digit number to 10, add a single digit number to 9

July 22-26
Phonics oo as in "book"
Math:  Add/Subtract a 2 digit number with a multiple of 10

July 29-August 2

Math:  Add 2 digit numbers (no regrouping)

August 5-9

Math:  Subtract 2 digit numbers (no regrouping)
