🌺Welcome! I am an experienced teacher who generates academic success through positive methodologies and engaging structured lessons. Build confidence with us for a week or a year as we learn the entire 1st Grade Language Arts Curriculum, in an interactive sequential order. Students will learn trigraphs , diphthongs, & complex blends through songs and games. They will also learn catchy reading and writing strategies from animal friends (Eagle Eye, Lemur Lips, Skippy Frog...) We will focus on the structures of the English language with chants & checklists. Tenses, parts of speech, and sight words are included as well (keep your Playdough or clay nearby). What does Ms.Bree use in the classroom? Interactive powerpoints, videos, dry erase boards, ReadingA-Z books, movement breaks, reading & writing games, and more! Let's Have Fun & Learn a Ton! 💖Ms.Bree Before joining, your child must know these Kindergarten skills: *All letter sounds (j says juh) *All word families: at, in, ed, ot, un... *All small sight words: is, an, on, it, or, as, go, the, and... *Basic blends: bl, br, cl, cr, fr, fl, gr, gl, pr, pl, sl, tr *Can write CVC words easily: pan, mop, dig, etc...
