Each week we will meet to chat and create art together. An artist will be featured each week for us to gain inspiration from and incorporate that artist's style into our own creative projects. You may use the artists work as a source of inspiration and incorporate it into a project of your own design or you may practice technique by copying one of our featured artists work. The choice is yours. In addition to our visual art projects we will share a poem or quote each week by a featured poet...
Social skills will be practiced during our group. We will have many opportunities to engage in conversation, learn about artists and discuss poetry. We will also engage in painting, drawing and art techniques. In our journals we may copy our quotes or poem of the week or add our own poems. Use your vision to create and document your journey as you learn to grow.

A multi page hand out will be provided on the first day of class that includes an overview of all of our projects for the month and the poems we will discuss. Materials List watercolor paper watercolors paint brushes acrylic paint pencil colored pencils scissors Modge Podge or liquid glue
Scissors may be used in class for some projects.
