I hold a science endorsement on my current and valid teaching certificate. I have 28 years public school teaching experience including 4 years as the science specialist teaching students science in grades K-8. I am certified by the Buck Institute in Problem Based Learning (PBL) and STEM. I developed science curriculum for a school system in Georgia and am a Science Ambassador for the state of Georgia. I have received extensive training in the Next Generation Science Standards.

On-going formative assessment based on learner participation will be conducted. Feedback will be provided to learners and their adults regularly. End of course evaluations and home school assessments will be completed upon request. The teacher is available to answer questions and provide feedback or evaluations as needed throughout the course.제공되는 성적
Learners will need a notebook and writing tools to bring to class each week. For classes which include hands-on activities or projects, you will be provided with a material list one week prior to class. Printouts are seldom needed and I always provide an alternative to the printout to accommodate learners who do not have access to a printer.

Learners and parents will be provided with weekly updates for the following week. In weeks that include projects, students may need to use scissors or other materials which may need supervision. To ensure learner safety, it is suggested that adult guidance is provided when using scissors or when the teacher posts a parental guidance note in the weekly updates. It is suggested learners have access to safety goggles and gloves when using materials in class such as baking soda, vinegar or lemon juice.
