In this one-time class, students will explore the revolutionary F-117 Nighthawk, the world’s first operational stealth attack aircraft. Designed to evade radar detection, the F-117 combined cutting-edge technology with bold mission planning to redefine modern aerial warfare. Students will learn about the aircraft’s engineering breakthroughs, the science behind its stealth capabilities, and the historical missions it carried out. Through a teacher-led PowerPoint presentation and a printable note-taking worksheet with images, learners will dive into both the technical and historical significance of this remarkable aircraft.
