In this review course, students will review the following concepts: 1. Evaluating expressions with whole numbers, integers, fractions, decimals and variables. 2. Solving 1-step equations with whole numbers, integers, fractions, decimals 3. Solving 2- step equations with whole numbers, integers, fractions, decimals *Students who register for this class should already have an understanding of integer rules, operations with fractions and operations with decimals. * Class structure: Session 1: Evaluating expressions with and without variables (using the order of operations, substitution of values for variables) Session 2: Solve 1-step equations in the four operations Session 3: Solve 2-step equations using reverse order of operations Session 4: Review/Game Optional homework will be assigned to reinforce the concepts learned between each class.
