This class is focused on discussion, classmate support and encouraging learning through fun. By the end of this class, students will have expanded their knowledge and understanding of multiple ideas pertaining to D&D, and enhanced their abilities to lead as well as support a conversation. Students will improve their abilities to navigate a discussion with multiple participants by learning then applying discussion etiquette as directed by the teacher.  

I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for almost a decade, and have experience in multiple classes, campaigns and worlds. Beyond that, I have plenty of experience mitigating conversations and helping students to work together, as I am a certified teacher that has been teaching for the past 6 years.

Optional extension activities will be administered at the end of each class as a means of using the knowledge gained to engage in different activities with family members. These exercises are not mandatory for the subsequent classes, but are helpful in letting the student practice the material or concepts that were presented with parents or siblings.
