Has your child studied Spanish? Do they want to progress into conversation and improve comprehension? Then this class is for you!

A class for an intermediate Spanish speaker who want to deepen their understanding of Spanish. Let's read, write, and converse!

Our Learning Goals: Students should know their vowels, consonants, shapes, numbers, days, and colors in Spanish. We will review accordingly and work our way towards having 75% of the class in Spanish. Writing, reading, watching engaging videos, answering questions, and playing games will be our primary focus.  Activities in each lesson will scaffold, building on previous lessons and will ensure learners are interested and engaged while I gradually add new concepts to their knowledge. 

NOTE: The workbook I mention in the video is NOT the book we will use. It is a different workbook and I will send you the link after you register!

General class structure: 5 minute introduction, 5 minute vocabulary, 10 minutes discussion/presentation, 5 minutes conversation,  5 minutes reflection/closure, 5 minute sharing.

Week 2: Pronouns and Conjugation
Week 3: Verbs and Conjugation, Culture - Aztecs
Week 4: Writing - My Daily Life, Phrases
Week 5: Writing - My Daily Life, Lotería
Week 6: Sports and Hobbies - ¡¿Que vas hacer?
Week 7: Phrases. ¡¿Qué vas hacer?
Week 8: Community - The city, Culture - The Maya
Week 9: Community - ¡¿A qué hora? The home.
Week 10: Food - Lotería
Week 11-14: Review work on our play.
Week 15: Celebration!

Students will RETAIN their acquired language skills to become CONFIDENT SPANISH SPEAKERS!

Important Notes: I have paid for an excellent Spanish program that allows students to practice online 24/7. The class has a minimum of 4 learners as they will often work in pairs. If we don't have enough students, I will delay the class until we have at least 4 learners.
