Let’s keep the conversation going from beginner to intermediate by improving your language proficiency .
In these classes ESL conversation on a range of everyday topics such as hobbies, family, clothes  weather etc  Picture prompts , picture  scenes, conversation cards, Would you rather cards etc  will all be used  to help learners to develop their vocabulary  as well as improving speaking skills . It will also encourage good listening and understanding,  which is an Important skill for any child learning English as an additional language .Good listening and speaking skills are not just important for language learning, they're important skills needed in everyday life.
Getting the conversation flowing and learners interacting is important so that children can develop their speaking and listening skills. It also makes children feel more at ease in the classroom, and more comfortable engaging in the lesson.

There are opportunities  for a picture scene  writing stimulus .
These are just examples . Each learner will be met at their level and each lesson tailored to meet the needs and level of the student. Alternatively it may be student led where the student brings something to class and wants to talk about it .For the more advanced learners lower intermediate/upper intermediate/ advanced controversial Statements for Debate ESL Cards  will teach ESL students the art of forming a well-rounded persuasive argument in English. Learning how to debate a subject helps learners to develop in several ways; it can improve critical thinking, build self-confidence and improve listening skills. It’s also a great way to improve ESL learners’ vocabulary and their ability to form arguments using persuasive language.
