말 과학: 말 충돌 코스 - 학기 수업

This semester class is designed for students to gain a solid introduction to the world of horses! During this course, we will discover the external anatomy, skeletal anatomy, colors, markings, breeds, identifying a healthy and sick horse, and being introduced to the world of horse judging. 

During class, I use slideshows including photos, videos and real life examples for students to better understand the topics at hand. Hand-outs will be provided throughout the course. These include coloring sheets, drawing sections, diagrams and labeling. 

This class is set up in a lecture and discussion based format. Students are welcomed to share experiences, ask questions and interact throughout each class. As we learn about horse judging, students will be introduced to developing reasons and will develop a basic foundation of delivering reasons to the class. 

This class is a great way for kids to become involved in the world of horses and is a stepping stone to learning about horse ownership, care and possible careers in the equine industry.
