This class is a great fit for a student in need of extra support/practice with the main elements of ELA.
The class will meet the student where they are academically with tailored instruction.

Concepts and practice covered include, but are not limited to:
- grammar
- creative writing
- vocabulary
- reading comprehension
- essay writing

Additional information:

- Grammar:
Using fun informational texts, students will practice hands-on grammar exercises to enhance their understanding of punctuation, spelling and parts of speech.

- Creative Writing:
Through an array of engaging prompts, students will have an opportunity to practice creative writing.

- Vocabulary:
Using grade-specific vocabulary, students will partake in engaging activities to practice and expand their vocabulary and word usage.

- Essay Writing:
Provide guided support learning to plan, compose, and polish & complete essays. The instructor will also provide feedback and suggestions.
