Looking for ongoing one on one tutoring to practice and improve listening and speaking in a fun and engaging way? Look no further, these personalized interactive English curriculum classes will be perfect! In these one on one instruction classes the teacher will first meet with the student to assess their level and language ability. The teacher will then pick lessons and language learning activities based around students individual needs and goals. Students will practice and improve their ability to listen and speak English fluently. Activities and learning to meet students goals will be fun and engaging through the use of songs, playful repetition, modeling, gestures, games and free speech. We will incorporate multiple academic standards and fun and engaging themes whenever possible. Some example academic standards that will be incorporated into the lessons are: alphabet learning, colors, animals, body, family, days and times, hobbies, jobs, family and friends and more! Some fun example themes may include: holidays and seasons! I look so forward to meeting and teaching your child and helping to improve their listening and speaking in English!

I have a Masters Degree in Education and Reading from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona where I obtained my reading endorsement and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an ESL Endorsement from Arizona State University. I was a public school teacher for 9 years and have worked with children for over 14 years! I've taught first grade as well as English as a second language. I have worked in a variety of settings including: Public School, Boys and Girls Club and online ESL teaching. My experience is in working with kids ages 3-12.
