Each week class will begin with a warm up that will include stretching exercises on the floor as well as standing. Each week a new dance will be taught. An instructional game will be played each week in addition to freeze dance, and a coloring sheet will be provided each week in accordance to the theme of the class. Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
