We will learn about the anatomy of the brain and nervous system. We will focus on the brain and spinal cord and how they work together to send messages to the rest of our body. We will learn the parts of the brain and what they control. We will make a simple spinal cord model in class with pipe cleaner, gummy life saver and hard life savers. Students have the option to also make a play dough Brain! I will use a google slide presentation, videos, discussion and making our spinal cord model...
Students will be introduced to the brain, its parts, and the rest of the nervous system including the spinal cord.
pipe cleaner, gummy life savers, hard life savers (about 5 of each kind) handouts will be provided in class 5 colors of play dough to make play dough brain
