Each student can choose which assignments to complete based on their interests and available time, or they can do them all for a deeper understanding. Class Experience In this engaging 8-week course, students will explore the fundamentals of music in a fun and interactive way. We will cover essential topics such as beat, tempo, and rhythm, singing and pitch, basic music theory, reading notes, instrument families, and music genres. Throughout the course, students will also have the chance to practice what they’ve learned through interactive activities and create their own DIY instruments and a final music project. How is the class structured? Each unit includes a theory lesson followed by a practice session to reinforce learning. Students will participate in activities like clapping games, singing exercises, listening challenges, and creative projects. There will also be opportunities for individual and group discussions to help students feel connected and engaged. Teaching Style & Interaction I use a hands-on and engaging approach that makes learning music fun! Classes will include interactive slides, guided listening, movement-based activities, and DIY projects to encourage participation. Students will also have the chance to ask questions, share their progress, and complete fun challenges. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in music theory and rhythm, along with the confidence to continue their musical journey. 🎶
