I am a former Special Education teacher, specializing in literacy. I have previously created courses for students with moderate to severe disabilities in middle school.
Students must have lined paper appropriate for their writing ability and a pencil. They may also have crayons or color pencils if they would like to draw their own picture to go with their story. I will be using carefully curated videos and resources within Nearpod. I will use Nearpod in the teacher-directed mode. Students may choose to create a free Nearpod account and have two windows open to participate in student activities.
