This course is designed to introduce children to the treble clef staff and start them on their way to becoming fluent note readers. It is so important that music students learn note reading early on as it is one of the main building blocks in music education. This small group class allows students to interact with each other as well as myself in a fun and relaxed manner. We play games and complete worksheets on screen. In my years of teaching music, I have come to develop fun and engaging ways for students to learn how to read notes on a staff. Note reading is tremendously important when it comes to learning how to play a musical instrument. When a student is able to read with confidence, they can focus on the instrument and their technique.
