In this weekly, on-going class, we will play through the Dungeons and Dragons module, Curse of Strahd. Barovia is a shadowy realm plagued by evil. The people who live there are melancholy and grotesque, terrified of the wolves and other minions of their vampire ruler. In addition to the hundreds of students I've taught on Outschool, I've also led several in-person seminars teaching Dungeons and Dragons to new players. I've been playing roleplaying games since I was a teenager. Now as a veteran homeschool parent, I blend my years of experience encouraging young people with my love of Dungeons and Dragons. I love providing a welcoming and affirming safe space for all of my students to relax and enjoy social time with others. I especially enjoy gently encouraging shy learners to come out of their shell. I am adept at keeping a balance between enthusiastic, outgoing students and quieter students who may prefer more structure with prompting to engage in the game.
