In this weekly, ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign, students play as cats and dogs who can speak, cast spells, and fight with swords. The adventure takes place in Gullet Cove, a port town with more than a few pirates and smugglers, where humans, elves, and dwarves live alongside intelligent animals! Students will practice the many skills that are honed in Dungeons and Dragons adventurers. They will learn team work, leadership, creative problem solving, negotiation, social and emotional skills, and of course, lots of mental math!
This adventure is meant for younger learners, so descriptions of combat, injuries, and gore will be kept to a minimum. While cats adventurers may enjoy catnip and dog adventurers may enjoy chewing on a good bone, descriptions of drinking and gambling will also be minimal.
