The “Elementary Drum Club: Rhythm and Fun for Young Musicians” fosters a supportive and engaging environment where students can actively interact, share, and build their rhythm skills while learning essential musical vocabulary. Confident Drumming: A Fun, Tailored Approach for Young Learners As your child progresses, I introduce new challenges at a pace that keeps them motivated and ensures they feel confident every step of the way. My accompanying video lessons allow them to practice at home, reinforcing what we learn together and solidifying their skills. What sets this class apart is my ability to adapt lessons to your child’s unique learning style and needs, ensuring a positive and fun experience for every student. By the end, your child won’t just be following rhythms—they’ll be creating their own music and feeling proud of their accomplishments! Empowering Kids Through Music: My 'Why"
Hi, I’m Rob Egan, a passionate musician and educator with a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of performing across the U.S., Canada, and Europe with renowned artists such as Henry Mancini and Bob Mintzer, as well as with the U.S. Army Ground Forces Band. However, my true calling has always been teaching.
With over 4,000 hours of online instruction, I have mastered the art of creating seamless and engaging learning experiences for every student. My virtual setup includes three drum sets, six camera angles, and studio-quality audio, ensuring that students feel supported and inspired no matter where they learn.
Why do I do what I do? I’ve seen firsthand how music transforms kids’ lives. It’s not just about mastering rhythm or playing beats; it’s about building confidence, sparking creativity, and fostering a lifelong love for learning. My lessons are not one-size-fits-all; I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every child, whether they are neurodiverse, autistic, homeschooled, or simply eager to learn.
As a U.S. Army Band veteran, I bring discipline, structure, and a warm, encouraging approach to my teaching. Every child deserves to feel the joy and pride that comes with discovering their potential. Helping them achieve that—one beat at a time—is why I do what I do.
