Dress to Impress is a fast-paced fashion game where players race against the clock to put together outfits that fit each round’s theme! Their peers rate each outfit out of 5 stars, so it is important to create looks that are cohesive and appealing. In this club, I use my experience playing this game to give feedback to players so they can level up their outfits and explore all the fun this game has to offer! We will also discuss some basics of color theory and clothing layering to develop each player’s understanding of fashion. I can’t wait to meet you on the runway! ✨ Main Themes/Topics for this Club: • Social enrichment: Regularly playing a game with peers who have similar interests is a fantastic way to connect and expand your student’s social skills! • Creative development: This fashion game improves your student’s understanding of color coordination and imagination through practice. • Confidence growth and encouragement: Discovering new clothing combinations and ranking up creates a fun and rewarding gaming experience! • Knowledge regarding how to safely navigate online games: Although we play in a private server, I will go over recommended account settings and precautions students can take if they play in public servers in the future.

Roblox is a platform that includes many games, but for this class we will only be playing Dress to Impress. Common Sense Media recommends Roblox for ages 13+, and suggests children younger than 13 have parents monitor their accounts. Dress to Impress content is listed as "suitable for everyone."
In this group, we will be playing in a private server that only the students and I can access. In order to join the secure lobby, students must privately share their usernames with me so we can become in-game friends and play together.

I play Dress to Impress frequently in my free time, and have recently achieved the rank of "Runway Queen", or 3,000 stars.
From 2016-2020 I co-founded and helped run Empowered Online Academy, where I taught virtual classes to children from ages 6-18. Some of the classes I taught were how to draw people, character design, and a reading class where students completed reading a book series and discussed the writing. Also from 2017-2020 I taught in-person private art lessons to students of many different ages and abilities.리뷰
