In this drawing class, we draw a total of SEVEN awesome Super Mario characters - The Koopalings!
✏️ Here's why this class is a must-join for your young artists:
• My directed-drawing method teaches young artists to identify shapes and lines in the characters, making it easier than they expect to follow along!
• Learners can see my hands throughout the step-by-step process, and I always draw live with them and allow plenty of time for questions and ideas!
• After the class, artists can use any coloring tools they prefer! They can use crayons, markers, colored pencils, and more - after we have drawn the outline together.
• Creative kiddos can use their imaginations to make their picture uniquely their own. Many do this by adding background details, extra characters, special colors or patterns, and more!
V A R I E T Y
• Each meeting introduces a new theme, sparking new opportunities to gain confidence and strength drawing each character. When drawing The Koopalings, we are able to identify and discuss the similarities and differences between each of them.
S O C I A L & S H A R I N G
• Weekly meetings kick off with sharing anything from art to plushies, fostering a sense of community.
• Every meeting ends with more sharing time, with each learner getting a chance to be spotlighted to share their artwork and tell the class about their concept.
• Our small cohorts become fast friends, making this class just as much about social interaction as it is about drawing. Whether outgoing or reserved, all learners are celebrated and by the end, feel like part of a little family.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to sign up, but cannot attend each meeting, no worries! After attending at least one live meeting, I can share the class recording for the missed lessons with you so that your learner can still draw all the characters.

I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
