In this ongoing class, students will practice their posing of humans through sketching. We will focus on finding shapes to outline and sketch our character. Please note, we will not be making completely finished art pieces. We will spend our time practising and repeating foundational shapes so that we feel more comfortable approaching a larger piece of art. The instructor will be using Procreate but you may join this class either with a digital medium or with pencil and paper. This class is in an ongoing format; learners may join or withdraw on any given week. 

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲:
Introductions 
Main Lesson: We will draw at least two figures per class, first working slowly with description and trying some timed compositions once comfortable; note that not every session will have a timed composition - it will depend on the comfort level and experience of the group.
Cool-Down/Showcase: Free time to experiment with the lesson or draw anything you like; the purpose of this is that you can work on something you like, it helps artists feel positive when they are learning something new or challenging. You may also take this time to showcase different artwork that you have worked on through the week.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽:
• Please note, I log into all my classes ten minutes early. During that time, I will do my best to assist you if you require technical help. However, I will need to begin class at the start time if you are unable to connect. Therefore, we may need to address technical issues after class.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• All of my classes operate under Outschool’s Standard Refund Policy: Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins. • Payments for classes cannot be transferred to future weeks.
•  If your learner misses a class meeting, you are not entitled to a refund. In the event that class is missed, a recording of the class will be available for you in the classroom after the session has been completed.
•  This policy applies when you have notified me of an absence ahead of time; the payment holds your seat and gives you access to the recording. 
• You may withdraw from the class and re-enrol if you do not wish to be charged during an extended period of absences. You may also opt for the pause feature but please note a pause does not hold your seat. If you wish to have your seat held, you can opt to pay for the subscription.
•  Please note that due to safety policy - in the event where you are unable to attend the first class you have registered for, the recordings of the class will become available after your first live attendance. 
• There are no discounts issued for siblings and/or the registration of multiple classes.

𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
• If a student is late, I will greet them and continue the lesson. I will not be able to reteach content. Once the session has ended, the recording will be available in the classroom.

𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• If you have not completed the Outschool Learner Verification process, I will require you to begin class with your webcam turned on. You may turn it off once you have been verified by me, if you wish.
• If you are enrolled in a social club, you may be unmuted throughout the class if there are no distracting background noises 
• If a class is full, I may review “mute”, “unmute”, and “raise hand” options for effective classroom communication
• I may call on learners and help facilitate conversation; I ask that only one person speak at a time
• Learners may use the “chat” feature to communicate
• If a learner is unable to adhere to these guidelines or is being disrespectful, they will be given up to two warnings. If a learner continues with disrespectful behaviour they may be put into the waiting room or be asked to leave; they can follow the rest of the class through the recording posted in the classroom.
