****This class is for ages 9-11. Please look at my profile for this same class for ages 11-16* Ready, set, sketch! Let's learn how to draw one sketch at a time and practice drawing techniques. *All levels are welcome* In this drawing class, we will focus on a different drawing technique or subject in each class. We will cover everything from nature to the human body. We will learn about proportions, anatomy, texture, shading, light and shadow, edges, details, highlights, gesture (expression), and more! Art, just like everything else, takes time and patience to learn. This class will not only teach students valuable drawing techniques, but will also give learners the opportunity to practice applying what they learn. Art is a bit of a mystery, and I want to give learners the tools to be able to figure out how to draw whatever they want. Each class is different and does not build on each other. While I usually draw realistically, I also enjoy using this approach to draw in different styles.
