In this ongoing class, students will be learning to draw a cute dog and use different drawing mediums each week to stylize it. We will break down the dog into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing techniques will cover shading, highlights, mark making, texturizing, blending, and rendering as needed for the specific project. Join our class anytime! Each week will be a new dog and I will demonstrate all the techniques needed to make your drawing cool! Need a one time class? All the dogs will be available as one time classes too! Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I'll offer a sharing event at the end of the class. Sometimes learners aren't finished at the end of class, so they can share in progress work and/or bring it to the next week's class. We love to share art but there's no pressure. Hello art friends! I'm Ms. Michelle. I'm offering directional and expressive art projects for young learners. I'm an artist with my education in Fine Art. I believe whole heartedly in the Montessori philosophy. I owned Montessori schools for years and I've taught art to thousands of preschool and elementary students in person and online.
Art has always been my happy place where I can be myself, share experiences, and enjoy friends. My art classes will help students practice fine motor skills, follow oral and visual instructions, improve art skills, and express themselves through creativity and social classes.

*Late to Class Policy - If you’re more than 10 minutes late, I reserve the right to not admit you into class. This is a significant interruption in the process of creation for other learners. If there’s another time for the class, I’ll offer a transfer. If there’s a schedule conflict, please msg me for a transfer before class. No refunds for late arrivals. I appreciate your consideration.
