나와 함께 그리기: 겨울 원더랜드 아트 클럽

*Please Note: No prior experience with drawing required; This class will be great for beginner artists as well as artists who are more advanced. All drawings are simplified for all students (each artists can add their own flair to their art as we go along) Every drawing is kid-friendly.

Do you like, maybe even LOVE everything Winter?  Do you also like art and creating  awesome masterpieces? For Teacher Ileana's Winter Art Club we are going to create Winter Wonderlands, Christmas-Inspired Art Pieces, Flying Reindeer, Winter Animals, the North Pole and So Much More!

Session 1: Wacky! Winter (Christmas) Penguins (Week of November 21st)
Session 2: Sledding Self-Portraits (Week of November 28th)
Session 3: Catching Snowflakes with our tongues! (Week of December 5th)
Session 4: But, It's Cold Outside! Self-Portraits in the Snow (Ice-skaters) (Week of December 12th)
Session 5: Personalized Snow-Globes (Week of December 19th)
Session 6: A Winter Village (Week of January 2nd)
Session 7: Do you want to build a snowman? (Week of January 9th)
Session 8: Oh, Dear! It's a Reindeer in the night sky! (Week of January 16th)
Session 9: Oh, the Grinch! (Week of January 23rd)
Session 10: Hey, It's Santa! (Week of January 30th)


In this course, young artists will work alongside other artists to create 10 different art pieces reflective of everything Winter/Christmas. Artists will: follow directed step-by-step instruction from me. Students are free to be as creative as possible: add details, eliminate certain aspects, use whatever colors they choose, etc. They will also have the opportunity to engage in conversation about the picture, their favorite Winter/Christmas movies, celebrations, foods, and so on.

Students will have the support of visuals, verbal instruction and guided modeling to better accommodate their needs. After creating each drawing, students will have the time to color, and add on to, their pictures and then share with the rest of the group. 
**Each of my art classes are paced to each students' needs. I check-in with each artist throughout the class to make sure they are keeping up and/or if they need additional support with anything.**
