I volunteer at a few area libraries teaching fun drawing classes to kids of all ages. I also am the Art Director for our local co-op and my kids through homeschooling. 

Passion for Art
My enthusiasm and passion for drawing is the key component in inspiring and motivating  students. I find art projects to be relaxing and a great way to de-stress. 

Strong Technical Skills
I have a solid foundation in drawing techniques, which I will use to effectively teach a variety of styles and mediums. Whether it's pencil, markers, charcoal, or ink, I have the expertise to guide students through different methods and help them develop their own skills.

Patience and Understanding
Teaching requires patience, and I have always had a natural ability to remain calm and supportive. I am aware that each child learns at their own pace, and my goal is to foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Ability to Break Down Complex Concepts
I also have the talent to simplify complex drawing concepts and techniques, making them understandable for students at all levels. I use clear explanations and demonstrations to help students grasp difficult ideas. In turn, this boosts their confidence and skills. 

Creativity and Innovation
My mind is constantly creating. This approach to teaching keeps lessons engaging and fresh. I am always looking for new ways to inspire my students. By incorporating innovative projects and activities, I will challenge them to think outside the box and explore their creativity.

Strong Communication Skills
Effective communication is essential in teaching. I know how to convey feedback constructively and encourage open dialogue, making students feel comfortable to express their ideas and ask questions.

Ability to Foster a Positive Classroom Environment
Creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment is one of my strengths. I ensure that all students feel valued and respected, fostering a sense of community where everyone can share their work and learn from one another.

By combining the above qualities, I will create an enriching and supportive atmosphere that helps students discover their artistic potential and grow as artists.
