In this live 1:1 class, your learner will engage in a series of 8 interactive sessions that combine drawing, math, and English to build foundational skills in a fun and creative way. Through directed drawing activities, they will practice key Common Core State Standards in both Math and English for Kindergarten. 

In Math, students will explore shapes, use positional words, and practice identifying and describing objects. They will meet the standards for understanding shapes (CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.A.1), modeling shapes (CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.B.5), and using positional language (CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.A.2).

In English, students will enhance their reading and writing skills by following directions, describing their drawings, and writing about their creative process. They will also build comprehension and communication skills by asking and answering questions about the drawing steps (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.K.1), adding drawings to their writing (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.K.2), and practicing speaking and listening (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.K.5).

Each session is designed to engage your learner in hands-on learning while reinforcing important academic skills in a personalized, one-on-one setting.
