엔칸토에서 카밀로 그리기 - 엔칸토 미술 수업

In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw Camilo from the movie Encanto, as well as learning tips on drawing basic human anatomy, coloring, shading and hair. This lesson will focus on the following art skills and elements:
- Portrait drawing skills in a cartoon style
- Basic shaping for the human form
- There will be extensive time on coloring, shading, and subtle details like how to best draw different types of hair and provide value and dimension to a drawing. 

Students can follow the drawing instruction step-by-step in my classes but are also encouraged to be creative and try things as well. Throughout class we will talk about the art in an open discussion format, and also discuss Camilo and the movie Encanto. Students are encouraged to take turns sharing and chat but also can remain silent if they choose.

Younger and less advanced artists can expect a more simplified version of this drawing during class time as detail work and expressive drawing is a skill typically students learn starting in the 5th grade (US equivalent). Older and more advanced younger students in the age range may have more focus on muscle definition, anatomy and detail work. Students who complete their drawing before the end of class will also be offered extra tips and can continue to expand on their work by including more details in the background to create a scene, or starting a new piece. 

PLEASE NOTE... Students in this class will be able to finish a complete drawing by following the step-by-step instructions in this course, however, for sections of the course which are full or nearly full, some independence may be necessary if students wish to add additional details or extra elements. Students are always encouraged to ask questions related to the lesson and I will check-in with each student on an individual basis periodically to make sure they are on pace and do not have any issues with their drawing. If you feel your student may benefit from a smaller class section or one-on-one instruction, please contact me for pricing on small group and individual private lessons. 

All of my classes are highly interactive and usually contain a special surprise at the end in form of a mystery unboxing, magic trick, etc.!

- ONE STUDENT PER SPOT. If enrolling multiple students, please register each of them. Multiple students appearing under the same spot will result in students being removed from the classroom.

- All my Outschool classes have a limited refund policy. Transfers, no-shows, late arrivals, cancellations, refunds and make-up requests CANNOT be accommodated within 24 hours of class time. No exceptions. Class recordings are available upon request for missed sections if the class proceeds with other students. 

- Live sections with no present learners are cancelled after 10 minutes of class time. 

- I do not offer sibling discounts for public classes at this time, however, I do offer a small discount for private classes when registering 2 or more students for a month or more. Please message me for more details. 

- These are WYSIWIG art classes: What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get! All thumbnails, promotional materials, class resources, and in-class drawings are original art produced by Marie (the teacher). Students are often offered a variety of reference images and resources from popular art styles to choose so they can draw in their preferred style, but special focus is paid to developing student's original art skills and not simply copying another artist. All images, drawings or other art resources are never taken from other artists to use as promotional materials.
