In this drawing class we will learn the steps to draw a realistic human face. Your student will receive guided, step-by-step instructions and may ask questions as we go along. Hello, I'm Mrs. Christy! I have over 30 years of experience as an artist in drawing and painting. I have been teaching group art classes from my home for the past 6 years and have recently transitioned to sharing what I love on Outschool. I have experience working with youth as an Elementary school teacher aid and I have worked in many youth groups and youth summer camps where I've had the opportunity to teach art.
A pencil, an eraser, a ruler and a few sheets of white paper are the only necessary tools needed for this class. If a student already has a sketchbook or drawing pencils then please encourage them to use them in class. However, just a regular pencil and white paper will also work just fine.
