수업 소개
In this Live, four part class, students will learn introductory ballet moves to their favorite Disney Music. We will begin with a short introduction of each learner and then learn basic positions of the feet. Each class will elaborate further on our base positions. We will learn things like plies, releve, sautes, bourees, chasses, passes, etc. Each song will have a certain dance move associated with it and when our classes are done, we will have a short dance routine that combines all of the techniques we've learned. Some of the songs that we will dance to will be from the movies Brave, Frozen, Princess & the Frog, Little Mermaid, and more! We will play a short game of freeze dance each day as well (if time allows)!

With any dance class, it is important to notify me of any previous injuries or limitations that may inhibit the dancer from proper participation. Along with this, the dancers should wear comfortable clothing, have adequate space for dancing, and make sure to have water nearby if it is needed. There is risk for injury with any movement class.

There is no dress code for this class. Learners are welcome to wear comfortable clothing or proper dance attire - their choice!

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
