In this self-paced class learners will play virtual games to help them memorize the locations of the 50 States in the United States of America. Each week we will cover 10 different states locations and capitals. The teacher will provide an interactive Nearpod lesson which will include image and audio files that will identify the location of each of the states. This class focuses on locating states and identifying capitals and not state facts and trivia. Each week learners will: Play games on Blooket to identify the locations of the states and identify their capitals. Play matching games on Nearpod to match state locations to their names. Share state maps on the Nearpod collaborative boards. Participate in a scavenger hunt. Each week the teacher will: Share a Nearpod lesson with games. Host a scavenger hunt. This course will have final project to construct, design, or decorate a US Map
