The Hands-On 2nd Grade Math Class is designed to build upon the foundational math skills acquired in 1st grade, focusing on addition and subtraction within larger numerical ranges. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, students will develop a deeper understanding of addition and subtraction concepts, enhance their computational fluency, and improve their problem-solving skills. By the end of this Hands-On 2nd Grade Math Class, students will have been provided a foundation in addition and subtraction within the numerical ranges of 1 to 100 and 1 to 1000, respectively. 🔹 Activiites in this class 🔹 - Students will receive links to virtual games that they can play. - For each lesson, students will receive worksheets. 🔹 Self-paced 🔹 - For each lesson, self-paced students will be prompted to share pictures to the classroom of any problems that they have solved using manipulatives. - Self-paced students can turn their worksheets in to the teacher each week of the class. - The teacher will check and provide feedback on these worksheets and respond to other assignments sent at least once by Sunday during administrative time. - The teacher will respond to requests for assistance within 24 hours. There will be no live meetings. Lessons will be provided via video recording. Learners typically choose to complete this course over 4 weeks.
