Each week, we will create a new piece of art and share it with peers! Learn and practice Procreate tools like layers, brushes, & color palettes! Learn to draw subjects like anime, landscapes, game art, pokemon, OC designs, animals & more!

A fun, weekly live drawing class where we will learn new exciting things in the world of digital art! In this ongoing Procreate class will explore different techniques, styles and subjects each week. We practice observational skills using new references each week, a variety of brushes, smudge tools, eraser textures, color palettes, line weight and style, lighting, shadow, shading, perspective, foreshortening, texture and more. Each week is different, and provides a steady practice that builds confidence over time. Learner suggestions are welcomed, and will be incorporated in following lessons. ✨By trying and practicing a variety of techniques, learners will develop their own style and begin to trust their intuition as their visual vocabulary expands! ✨We focus on learning and process, so most classes will not end with a “finished” piece. Instead, students will build and practice the tools and techniques needed to continue with the piece between classes! ✨ You can join anytime. We work step-by-step each class to begin to create something new in Procreate so learners can follow along, and when they feel comfortable more advanced students can work at their own pace. Supplies: 1. An ipad with Procreate already installed and ready to use. 2. A stylus/apple pencil is recommended, but not necessary. 3. Another device to log into class is recommended. Students must have the digital drawing app Procreate.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to add detail, lighting, texture, color palettes, color selection, editing tools, adjustments, layer features, transparencies and style using many different brushes!Students will learn and practice drawing fundamentals.

We will be using the app Procreate to make art in this class. This app costs about $10 and will need to be purchased and downloaded before class begins.
