This is not your average tour of the universe. In this 8-week course designed for advanced, gifted, and neurodivergent learners (ages 11–16), we’ll dig into the mind-bending realities of space, time, gravity, and matter. We’ll explore paradoxes, run thought experiments, simulate space-time warping, and investigate what we know, what we suspect, and what we still don’t understand. From black holes and time dilation to cosmic inflation and multiverse theory—this course is for learners who already know what a planet is and are ready to go deeper.

Hello! I’m Tiffany, and I bring both formal study and a lifelong passion to my teaching. I’ve studied Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the college level, and I’ve spent years as a dedicated self-taught learner in physics, astronomy, cosmology and math- as these disciplines are interconnected to get an overall picture of the universe. My approach is grounded in curiosity, creativity, and connecting big ideas to real understanding.
On Outschool, I’ve taught a variety of science and math courses for neurodivergent and advanced learners, with a focus on building confidence and critical thinking. My classes prioritize engagement over memorization, welcoming learners to explore the what and how of the universe.
In space science courses, I focus on:
Physics: The rules that govern motion, matter, and energy
Astronomy: Observing celestial bodies and their behavior
Cosmology (my approach): Investigating what space is made of, how galaxies move, and what lies within black holes.
I aim to create a safe, inspiring learning environment where students can explore the universe through inquiry, storytelling, and imagination. My goal is to help learners see science as something they can question, connect with, and love—even if they learn differently.
