Intermediate Level
How to write a diary in English: Include the date and/or time. Use the words‘I’, ‘my’, ‘we’ and ‘our’. Talk about where events happened. Write about the most important events in order. Describe your feelings. Use time linking words, e.g. next, first, then. I will provide examples of inspiring diary entries I will provide picture prompts to help with inspiration I will ask the learner a few questions and after a chat we will start to record the learner's thoughts on a google doc which the learner will be able to view. I am an approachable, patient and kind teacher I will record the learners ideas on a google doc, which I will then send to the learner once the class is over.

I will provide a printout prior to the class. The learner may want to have their own paper and pen to record their thougths and ideas
