In this class, students will learn basic dance moves in a non-stop dance party! Beginners are welcome. We will start by stretching and warming up our bodies. I will then teach them dance moves, allow students to free-style, and even share their favorite moves with other club members. This club will encourage students to exercise, practice self expression, and build their self-esteem! I want each student to realize that there is freedom in dance. We don’t have to dance like anyone, but ourselves! As the teacher, I will guide the students through the moves, organize everyone’s contributions, and help facilitate a safe space to show their moves. Let’s dance!

Week 1 - Introductions and freestyle “Freeze Dance Party” 
Week 2 - Shapes (We will make shapes with our movements.)
Week 3 - Levels (We will dance “up” and “down” using the floor and space around us.)
Week 4 - Mashup (We will combine all that we have learned and taught each other.)
