Reliance on computer technology for writing purposes has further eroded their writing skills in both print and script. Yet neat penmanship is essential for good note-taking and communicating our thoughts clearly to others in written form. Writing neatly by hand, furthermore, involves the creation of beauty and develops a student’s patience and discipline. In thisonline course, we improve our cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? Drawing involves some of the same muscle groups as handwriting. It’s also lots of fun!
