커시브 캠프 - 대문자

We will begin class by introducing ourselves.  I will introduce learners to the proper way of writing capital letters in cursive, including the slanting of letters and paper positioning. Each day I will model cursive letters and provide visual and verbal prompts to the learners as needed. We will learn and practice a few capital letters during each class, one at a time until we are successful (about 5 letters a day and  and 6 on the last day). We will  practice making them with our fingers first and then independently on lined paper.  I will watch their progress and provide feedback when needed as they make their cursive letters.  If extra time, we will add some additional practice by making words using the learned cursive letters.
