I discussed current events with my charter students and they enjoyed getting news and information from around the world that they normally would not get. **We will NOT be discussing anything that is massively controversial in this class or certain events happening right now that could cause upset to students. I feel that is up to parents to share with their students. We will also not discuss Covid-19 or the vaccine. That topic has many various opinions and will not be discussed. Other things that will NOT be discussed will be the following: BLM, US Elections, Racial-related topics, LGBTQ-related topics, Gun-related topics, or anything controversial right now. **
