Have you already learned how to double crochet? Are you looking for a new challenge? If so, this is the class for you! In this class, students will learn to follow a pattern and use double crochet to form a Granny Square. 

Students should know how to crochet the following before class: Slip knot, chain, and double crochet.

This class is intended to be a "next step" for students who already know double crochet and would like to complete a project. I will explain how to read the pattern and complete each step of creating a Granny Square. I will model each step as many times as needed for students to feel confident with each skill. If there is time at the end of class, students can crochet more Granny Squares and free talk. 

Class 1: 
Bring to class: All supplies (yarn, crochet hook, scissors, needle with large eye)
Create in class: Granny Square

Class 2:
Bring to class: All supplies (yarn, crochet hook, scissors, needle with large eye) + AT LEAST 2 COMPLETED GRANNY SQUARES
Create in class: We will learn to connect multiple Granny Squares. If time allows, students can crochet more Granny Squares.

Upon enrollment in this class, you will have access to the classroom and the supply list. Please be sure to purchase supplies before class. After class, I will post the tips shared in the class on our class page. All Outschool classes are also recorded, so students will be able to watch the class video for additional help after class, if needed.
