In this bite-sized creative writing course, learners will master the art of paragraph writing through imaginative, food-themed prompts, colorful graphic organizers, and inspiring short stories! Each week begins with a fun, age-appropriate story that sets the stage for that day’s writing challenge. These mentor texts spark creativity and show students how authors use structure, detail, and transitions in their work.

We'll use model writing, step-by-step guidance, and interactive visuals to help learners build confidence and structure in their writing. Writers will receive positive, personalized feedback using the “glow and grow” method to celebrate strengths and encourage growth.

Whether your learner is just starting to write or looking to sharpen their storytelling skills, this class is a flavorful way to learn how to write clear, creative, and complete paragraphs!

In this class, we focus on teaching writing structure, coherence, and clarity through a consistent writing schedule. Each writing prompt is thoughtfully designed to help students improve their paragraph construction skills. By following this structured approach, students will gain a thorough understanding of expressing their thoughts effectively and enhancing their creative writing abilities. Paragraphs will typically consist of 6-8 sentences.
