This is a fun ongoing class to encourage beginning writers to write more while learning to describe animals using various adjectives and verbs. When learners practice writing at an early age, they become more creative and confident in their writing skills as they grow. Writing is easier as we brainstorm ideas together as a class. I will encourage writing using descriptive words for the animals. Weekly Overview: Since I give the students clues to guess the animal each week, I do not list...
Learners will: • Expand their creative writing skills. • Write about animals and build their personal writing notebooks. • Share their written work and practice their public speaking skills if they choose to do so. • Make friends and feel comfortable and confident in our class.
I am a certified teacher and previously taught in a public school. I enjoy teaching and learning with the students. I am excited to help spark an interest for writing in my students.
