In one-on-one podcasting lessons, students will learn the skills they need to create, produce, and publish their own podcast series on Spotify. Tailored to individual interests and goals, these personalized sessions guide students through every step of the podcasting process, from brainstorming ideas and conducting interviews to editing and publishing. This unique experience helps students develop storytelling, technical, and public speaking skills while encouraging their creativity and confidence.

This class is designed to be interactive, engaging, and hands-on, with students taking the lead on their podcast projects. We’ll begin with a discussion to identify their podcast’s theme and format, followed by lessons on scripting, interviewing techniques, and recording setup. Students will explore audio production, learning how to edit their episodes using professional tools like Adobe Audition and Descript, clean up sound, and add music or sound effects to enhance their stories.

My teaching style emphasizes encouragement and collaboration, creating a safe space where students can experiment and grow their skills. I provide regular feedback and encourage students to ask questions and share ideas throughout our sessions. By the final lesson, students will not only have a finished podcast episode but will also have published their work on Spotify, gaining a sense of accomplishment and pride in their unique creation.
