고대 로마에서 살아남을 수 있을까? (Kahoot 및 기타 활동 포함)

Prior to class, students will have access to notes that they need to read to prepare for class.  During class, we will be doing a few activities and games with the information from the notes.  At the end of class, students will play a game using the app/website Kahoot about whether they could live and survive in ancient Rome.  Students will need to have access to both the classroom screen and use another device like a cell phone or tablet to use for the Kahoot game.  To play the game, the students will need to go to www.kahoot.it at the end of class to play the game on their other electronic device.  

Attached are notes about ancient Rome so that the students will be prepared to answer the questions and compete against other students. At the beginning of class, we will discuss the notes by doing the activities prior to the Kahoot game.  We will play at least one Kahoot game, but if time allows, we will play more.   

Students will learn about the culture, laws and daily events that took place in ancient Rome.  In order to prepare and be equipped to answer the questions, notes will be supplied prior to the game.  

The rules are below for the Kahoot game:
1.  Everyone should answer each question to the best of their ability.  It is not based on speed.  So, each person should answer.
2.  Students have 30 seconds to answer each question after the teacher reads out the question.
3.  Do not get any help from anyone else or do any research (on your phone, computer or other source) during the game.
