Learners will build fluency with addition and subtraction problems using Number line. Students will interact and participate along side other learners. Students will create a Number line with teacher & use it as a guide to learning how to solve addition & subtraction problems. This class is appropriate for advanced young learners ( ages 5-8). Students should be familiar with numbers and a little addition & subtraction. The class atmosphere will be fun and engaging for learners.
First, we will create a number line together at the beginning on class each week. Then we will complete addition & subtraction problems together. By the end of each class, students will be able to solve problems with flash cards. 


Class One: Addition within 10
Class Two: Addition within 20
Class Three: Subtraction within 10
Class Four: Addition/Subtraction within 20
